Ron Becker has been a dedicated member of the Zimco Instrumentation Inc. team for an impressive 45 years. Over the course of his career, Ron has consistently demonstrated a passion for learning and takes pride in working with long-term customers, fostering strong and trusted relationships.

Outside of work, Ron enjoys spending quality time with his family. Married to his wife for 46 years, he cherishes their shared adventures and loves traveling together. Ron’s commitment to his job and his family reflects his steadfast values and love for life, both personally and professionally.

Preston brings over 30 years of experience in oil & gas manufacturing and services, with experience across drilling, completions, fracturing, production testing, and, most recently instrumentation. Throughout his career, Preston has excelled in commercial and sales environments, with a strong focus on delivering innovative solutions and building lasting customer relationships.

With over two decades of management experience, Preston has a history of team leadership, driving growth, and delivering results in the dynamic energy industry.

Outside of work, Preston enjoys working with young players as a hockey coach, playing guitars, watching football, and values time with his family. As a proud father of two, he finds a good balance between his career, hobbies, and spending time with the people who matter most.

Brad Holowatiuk is the Warehouse Manager at Zimco Instrumentation, bringing over 25 years of dedicated experience to the team. He oversees shipping, receiving, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes. Brad takes pride in contributing to processes that make life easier for customers and partners.

Outside of work, Brad likes to be around the people closest to him. He’s a dedicated father and husband who loves spending quality time with the family. He enjoys sunny days, firing up the BBQ and experimenting with new recipes—because nothing beats good food shared with great company.

As the Accounting Supervisor at Zimco, Amber has built a strong career since joining the company in 2006, shortly after graduating from Mount Royal’s Bissett School of Business. A born and raised Calgarian, she takes pride in providing customers with timely resolutions to their issues. Over the years, Amber has taken on several new roles, including expediting and inventory management, allowing her to expand her skill set. Known for her high attention to detail, she ensures that every task is handled thoroughly and efficiently. Outside of work, Amber enjoys reading, seeing concerts, and spending quality time with her family. She is also a big Taylor Swift fan and hopes to see her in concert again. Amber’s dedication to both her professional and personal life has helped her build meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

LeRoy heads the marketing department at Zimco, bringing creativity and strategy to achieve impactful results. With over 6 years at Zimco, he leads dynamic marketing campaigns, manages tradeshows, and organizes memorable events (yes, including the legendary Zimco lawn bowling tournament). LeRoy is the go-to guy for making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

When he’s not strategizing or crunching numbers, you’ll find LeRoy traveling the world (20+ countries and counting) with his wife, discovering new restaurants in the city, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Oh, and did we mention he’s working on getting the whole Zimco team into cricket? You never know, a Zimco cricket tournament might be coming your way!

LeRoy’s creativity knows no bounds. He also mentors final-year marketing students, passing on his insights and real-world experience to help them excel in the industry. If you see Zimco’s extraordinary product specialist and Oscar-worthy actor, Wade, strutting through the warehouse on one of his famous walks, you can bet LeRoy is behind the camera, directing and creating the magic. As the Senior Inside Sales Rep, with a knack for understanding complex technical products and a passion for helping clients find the perfect solutions, Curtis is your go-to guy for all things sales and instrumentation.

When he’s not making sales magic happen, Curtis is probably busy at the hockey rink or strategizing his fantasy football lineup. A die-hard fan of both sports, he knows that whether you’re on the ice or the field, it’s all about making the right moves at the right time—much like in sales!

Curtis is also an impressive (pun intended) master of impressions. If you ever need a laugh or want to hear a spot-on impersonation of your favorite celebrity or character, he’s the guy to call. Just don’t ask him to do his impression of a malfunctioning instrument—that one’s a bit too close to home!

Yep, you read that right—Wade has literally called the shots on the ice in one of the world’s most intense sportsWhen he’s not applying his technical know-how at Zimco, you can find Wade glued to NCAA football, where his deep knowledge of the game might make you think he’s the go-to guy for fantasy football. But, as it turns out, having all that NCAA knowledge doesn’t always translate to fantasy football victories (just don’t bring it up to him—he’s still recovering from a tough season).

A proud West Coast transplant, Helean brings over 22 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Electro-Mechanical, and Instrumentation sectors, with a strong track record of excellence and innovation. Joining Zimco in early 2023, she has been valued member of the sales team, where her expertise and dedication have contributed to the company’s continued growth and success. Helean is known for her problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and passion for continuous learning, making her a standout professional in her field.

Outside of her career, Helean is an avid dog lover and can often be found at the dog park with her energetic Goldendoodle. Her love for sports extends to the soccer field, where she enjoys staying active and connecting with others. For the past three years, he has played a key role at Zimco Instrumentation, serving customers across Northeast Alberta, including Edmonton and surrounding areas. Darcy specializes in industries such as Energy, Pulp & Paper, and other industrial sectors, offering practical solutions for even the most complex instrumentation challenges.

A true people person, Darcy thrives on building long-term relationships with customers, grounded in trust and results. His hands-on, goal-oriented mindset drives him to treat every customer’s problem as his own, ensuring no issue goes unresolved. Spencer has been in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years. His experience has taken him through all aspects of the industry from flow-back to production. This has led to him having many lifelong friendships. Building long-lasting customer relationships and a sense of community has always been one of his passions. He also enjoys cooking traditional meals as well as trying out cooking challenges that he dreams up.

When Spencer is not experimenting in the kitchen, he can be found spending time with his 2 young daughters and loving wife. As a hometown man, Spencer values building memories with all his relatives in town. It is likely that if the kids are outside playing you will see Spencer out there playing tag or building jumps for their toboggans. If there is a good experience to be had, you will surely find Spencer there!

Gina has been a part of the Zimco family for almost 3 years. With 20+ years in the O&G industry, she has experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing and Event Planning. Gina prides herself on being the office go to person. She enjoys helping all the staff and embraces learning all aspects of the company. She loves spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. During her time off you will catch her basking in the sun at the lake or watching a great horror movie.
